Ski Trip Recommendations
Looking to do my first ski trip with the family. What are the best places to go, what time is the best time to go?
Also any info on house rental will be greatly appreciated...

Ski Trip Recommendations
I find Okemo (in VT) to be a very family friendly mountain - I love skiing there.

Ski Trip Recommendations
Locally I am a fan of Sugarbush and Sugarloaf. Sugarloaf is a real hike but the mountain is great and because its so far you do not get the crowds.
If you want to travel I am a huge fan of the Tahoe area.

I am curious too. Hubby and I were actually talking about this tonight. We are trying to figure out where to go with a 3 and 5 year old.

Ive only been to park city utah and its absolutely incredible. Soooo many toddlers on the slopes!

As a kid my parents took us to Mount Snow in VT and Waterville Valley in NH. Both great places.

2 smaller and closer mountains that are great for families are Camelback in the Poconos and Jiminy Peak in Massachussetts.
I always see tons of kids at these mountains and I was a beginner myself :)

Jimney peak is a great mountain - it is western mass- they have some great condos right on the mountain
Best time to teach kids is when it is warmer - late Feb or early March - they may only get to go once or twice that year but they are not too cold that they hate it
Okemo has a good children's program
I love Bromely - it has a good kids program and the mountain gets tons of sun - keeps kids feeling warmer - once central base lodge - not too big
I generally prefer smaller mountains with kids
