Vaginal Pain

Sorry for TMI. I am preparing for FET in a couple of weeks.

They put me in delestrogen, which came in a generic as estradiol. The calendar was emailed to me with no instructions, and they said nothing about the meds.

So I read instructions and looked online, and assumed this goes in the butt, like PIO. Hope I was right.

I did this about two hours ago. Five minutes ago I started getting significant vaginal cramping/pain. Hard to explain, but higher up and worse than a UTI. It is kind of throbbing.

Is this normal? What do I do? I guess I can call service tomorrow or just not take tomorrow night's dose and wait until they are open Monday.

Any suggestions. I literally do not know how I will fall asleep, the pain is rough, maybe a bath will help?

you're right that it's used the same as pio but that side effect def seems odd to me. I'd call the service to ask about what to do with the next dose. Feel better!!

Could it be unrelated?

I only ask because I get that kind of pain whenever I have a kidney stone. I say it feels like my cervix is being scraped with barbed wire. I know, fun.
