I feel like people usually notice difficulties in their baby's feeding earlier than that and make the switch then. But I've noticed lately dd grunts a lot more while feeding, seems gassy and she's not farting as much to get it out. Do you think this warrants a change in formula? She takes gerber good start gentle. If I were to change I don't even know what to change her to. We started on rtf but have been on powder for almost 2 months

I changed formula twice...once to gentlease then to AR because of her spitting up. Then age shouldn't matter. In terms of what to switch to...I'd ask your ped. Since you are already using a gentle formula I am not sure a switch would help much. Have you tried gas drops or gripe water?

We use to put gas drops in her bottle and that helped her. Maybe try those before completely changing a formula.

I had to change formula around that age- DS had a milk protein allergy.

You may just want to switch back to rtf...
I know my peds said there is a diference between powder and rtf. And had me stay on rtf since it was working for my dd..
