Pediatic Urologist - repeat circumcisions
Ds is 6 months old and looks like he has never been circumcised. Ped said that the Dr did not take enough.   
Ped's office recommended Dr Hanna, but I have also heard from other parents that Dr Palmer is great (so I am actually leaning towards him).
Can you share your experience with either of these doctors or if you used someone else you loved, tell me about them?!

If your insurance company covers him....Dr Palmer 1000000%
He redid DS' s and almost 2 years later he has never had any issues at all. He is potty trained (during the day) and everything has been fine.

He is in our network! I Just called... now appts until october. We have one for 10/11.
How old was DS when he re-did it? What was Re-coup like? I hate this.

I used Dr Gitlin at Ped urology. He did DS original (only) one at 12 months and he was great!!!!

Dr. Palmer corrected my DD's stage V Vesicoureteral Reflux and he was wonderful. Unfortunately I don't have any info/input in regards to repeat circumcisions.

How old was DS when he re-did it? What was Re-coup like? I hate this.
Ds was one year and one week old when he had his redone. Operation was outpatient in New Hyde Park. He did excellent with the anesthesia and was back to normal by the next morning. The wound itself took a few days to heal preliminaraly but after a week or so there was no more redness at all.
I won't lie it is very nerve racking but overall my DS did well and yours will too. Kids bounce back fast and they don't remember anything!

We used Dr. Palmer too and had a great experience.
DS was 18 months when we did it and literally within a few hours after surgery he was back to normal...playing, eating, like nothing ever happened.

Wow... definitely sounds like Palmer is the way to go!

My ds had surgery today to do his circumcision and another small issue and I just wanted to let you know it wasn't bad at all! The anticipation was the worst! He didn't even really cry at the hospital! He's a tiny bit fussy today but nothing to write home about. Good luck!

Dr. Palmer did my DS repeat circ. He was awesome. Made me feel completely at ease. My DS was fine and he did a great job. I couldn't have been more pleased with Dr. Palmer.
