UPDATE - Advice/Thoughts/Opinions

Trying for 15 months.

I recently switched over to an RE - DR Pena @ LIIVF. I think I ovulate every month. I didn't consistently use an ovulation predictor kit but when I did use one, I did receive a +. I also usually have what I think is ovulation cramping and discharge.

I am doing an IUI this month, for the first time. I am on my 3rd round of clomid at 100mg. This is the first month I am being monitored. I am on CD 19 and I haven't ovulated yet. My estrogen is slowly, very slowly increasing. My biggest follicle is a 13. I have always had regular cycles. Always. Pretty much 26-28 days.

I have read that some people believe that clomid screwed up their cycles and I wonder if this can be happening to me.

UPDATE - 8/30 - Well todays sono was a little bit better. They see one dominant follicle in each ovary, at 14.5 , which still seems kinda small to me considering I'm at CD 20.

Clomid shouldn't mess up your cycle. But now that you're being monitored, you should get more answers.

I don't really know what other advice I can give you except to hang in there since the RE should be able to tell you more in a few weeks.

Also, just wanted to make sure that your husband has had a SA.

maybe you don't respond well to clomid, if this cycle doesn't work maybe check with your RE to see if you should be on something else, good luck!

Advice/Thoughts/Opinions

clomid for me shortened my long cycles. It can affect how quickly your follicles mature and thus change how long or short your cycle is

No advice but wanted to wish you luck! How do you like him? I used him for my DD, and switched to a new RE now and honestly I am kind of regretting it. If my FET doesn't work out I think I may go back to him for a Fresh Cycle.

Honestly, I really don't know him that well. I saw him just a handful of times. I mostly see the sono techs and nurses, who are all great. So, so far so good.
