Do you ever miss..
I feel like lately I've been so nostalgic with regard to my 20s (I'm in my 30s now). I think it's since we've been ttc. Is it just me. or does ttc make you miss the days that you avoided pregnancy like the plague?

I don't know if those are the days that I miss... I think that what I miss more than anything is the innocence you have when you've never experienced a miscarriage. I was explaining to a friend last night that the whole process changes after that (especially if you've had more than one). Even when you get a BFP, you don't enjoy it the same way - you spend the entire time terrified of every little thing.
I also miss the time before trying where I didn't feel this stupid pressure to get preggo.

I think I just miss not having that stabbing pain in my chest every time I hear about someone else's unplanned pregnancy.
Honestly, in the beginning of TTC I kinda did feel this way, but after so long I decided to take my life back and do things that celebrate the fact that its just the 2 of us right now instead of mourn it. It helps take the sting out of the monthly disappointment a bit more.

Yes, I do miss those days. The every day mind F__K of TTC, especially after years of doing this with losses, if I could go back to the good old days when TTC wasn't even a thought, I would. Just to take a mental break from it all.
But we can't lol So here we are.

If I knew then that it was going to be so difficult to get pregnant, we would have started trying a lot sooner.
