When should I test?
How many days post ovulation do you think is sufficient to wait until you test? I'm anxious and cannot wait until my AF due date!

Re: When should I test?
Wait as long as possible. I am waiting til 2 days before AF is due and then I wont test until the day AF is due...so like 12 dpo and then 14 dpo

Re: When should I test?
I wouldn't bother before 10dpo. With both my pregnancies I got + tests at 10dpo. I have a very short LP though, not sure if that affects it (i would normally get AF at 7-10dpo so technically 10dpo is when my AF would be due anyway).

I would wait until AF is due- even the early response tests are less accurate before then.

Re: When should I test?
I came across this info couple months ago
I don't test until AF is due. Waiting really sucks but I feel like I'm getting more discouraged every month so now I just wait. Seeing BFN all the time isn't fun.
HPT Accuracy Results Percentages: (Based on a 25mIU sensitive test) 10 dpo : 35% 11 dpo : 51% 12 dpo : 62% 13 dpo : 68% 14 dpo : 74% 15 dpo : 80% 16 dpo : 88% 17 dpo : 92%
Here's another good summary from FertilityFriend:
Average Day Past Ovulation (DPO) for the first positive pregnancy test: 13.6 DPO
Average DPO for the first "false" negative test result: 10.3 DPO
Percentage of pregnancy charts with a positive test at 10 DPO: 10%
Percentage of pregnancy charts which show negative results before a positive result: 17%
Average time between the expected period and the first positive pregnancy test: 0.5 days before the expected period.
Percentage of negative test results taken three days or more before the expected period day on non pregnant charts: 40.7%

Re: When should I test?
With my first pregnancy I got a BFP at 10dpo. With that said, I don't think it's worth the stress and anxiety to test early. I won't test before 14dpo. Easier said than done... especially if this is your first or you have been TTCing a long time.
