saw this online... has anyone tried it?
Eggplant Parm wonder if it works?

I tired with my DD. I had it for dinner 6 days after my due date. Nothing happened except it sat in my stomach and made me feel like crap for the start of my induction on day 7 past my due date.
I tried EVERYTHING. Pineapple, walking,  , bouncing on an exercise ball. DD just didn't want to come out!
(Sorry if this isn't the news you wanted to hear.)
Eta- I tried eggplant parm, but not from this specific restaurant...maybe they have a special ingredient? Lol.

It worked for me! I had it for dinner, then DH and I around 11pm. My contractions started around 11:30pm. DD was born at 9:31 the next morning! I was just past 38 weeks, and was completely closed at my appointment 2 days before.
It could have been a coincidence, but who knows? Worth a shot, right?

I tried it. Ate eggplant several times in the week after my due date... didn't work! I also walked a lot & did everything they suggest.... I don't think anything I could have done would have brought on labor.
But my friend swears by pizza lol! She had it both times for dinner the night before she went into labor.
You never know what will work!

Funny story, my SIL was past her due date and we kept teasing her about eggplant parm. SHe doesnt even like it so she didn't try it. After the baby was born, for months - every time she would come over my mom would make her. . .eggplant parm. She thought we were teasing her bc she loved it and. . .she hates it! So finally we realized why my mom was constantly making it and we had to break it to her LOL
I ate a whole fresh pineapple every single day, ended up being a week late. . .and haven't eaten fresh pineapple since LOL

unfortunately it did not work for me
dd was 8 days late - i tried everything those last 8 days
she just needed to come out when ready
we tried - actually LOTS of
pineapple
eggplant parm
lobster
spicy food - lots of spicy food

I think it works!! As well as a lot of with foreplay(nipple stimulation cause contractions) as tender as they feel.

I just told DH that since DD is due Dec 1st we should make this for a side dish on Thanksgiving and not tell anyone why! Imagine it works!
