My sister has the 48" Thermador.. its beautiful & really heats up fast. It is her dream oven.
I had the Wolf in my last home & had soooo many problems with uneven heating, I could never bake a normal cookie.
I'm just gonna throw a 3rd choice out there, I have a 48" Capital Culinarian. Chat Icon I love, love, love it! The same oven they use on the show Chopped. Its also half the price.. just my 2cents.
The 1st time around I fell for the fancy red knobs & "name", this time I wanted function & performance.

I love my Wolf! I have a six burner cooktop and double ovens. Don't get the grill or griddle. I hear it is difficult to clean. Just keep in mind the wolf requires a heavy duty fan above it. The range also is heavy and might need to be supported from below.

I have a wolf, my mom has a thermador. We are both really happy with both. Both of us have needed service, and have been happy with the level of professionalism and service we received. I agree with the idea about not getting the griddle with the wolf. I have read it is tough to clean. I bought a cast iron griddle with a handle and it works beautifully.
