Shorter luteal cycle this month..

The last few months my surge was on CD 12 and I had a 28 day cycle...So my luteal cycle was probably around 14-16 days. I don't temp so I don't know for sure.

This past cycle, I surged on CD 12 and got my period on day 26 (2 days early).

Should I be concerned that my luteal cycle was a little shorter? Technically I could have ovulated closer to my surge date. I'm also under alot of stress (not related to ttc) which could be the reason.

I think (and it's been a while since i've been in the TTC world, so i could be wrong), but i think that as long as your LP is more than 9 days, you are fine. So, if it's 14 days both months, you are still in a good range.

LP should be a minimum of 10 days. it will vary from time to time. also if you dont know your exact O day you may be miscalculating. i wouldnt be concerned at all 16 days is actually longer than average.
