Question for those who monitor CM throughout their cycle

Around what point in the cycle do you start to notice CM drying up after ovulation if you haven't conceived? I just went off the mini pill a little over 2 weeks ago. I stopped taking it when I got AF, even though I still had 2 weeks of pills left in the pack. I have had very predictable 27-29 day cycles for the past few months. For the first few months off BC, we aren't doing any tracking or OPK's or anything- just winging it, and I've been checking CM for fertile times. Last Wednesday/Thursday is when I seemed to have the most EWCM (we BD Wed and Friday). So now, it's about a week past that and I still have a fair amount of CM (though usually a bit more yellowish in color and not as transparent as EWCM). At least once or twice a day, **TMI alert** after I pee, CM will be dripping/hanging out of me. I thought by now, it would have started to dry up. I have read up on CM throughout the cycle, but do find some conflicting things, so just wondering what others typically experience, though I know every woman's body is different. TIA for any input!

Re: Question for those who monitor CM throughout their cycle

With me I notice it dries up totally probably a few days after "O" maybe 4 days or so. And then right before my period starts I notice it again but it's not EWCM. I know exaclty what you mean about peeing and seeing the CM because that happens to me as well but only when I have the EWCM. Could it be that maybe you are ovulating this week and not last and thats why your still seeing EWCM? Maybe your body is still adjusting itself to being off BC.

In my experience, I've only noticed CM like that in the cycles I've gotten my BFP's (neither have stuck yet, seeing an RE in September).

Thanks for the reply! It's definitely not EWCM though, because it's like thicker and goopier (can I make up a word? haha) and more yellowish than the EWCM I've seen.
