Do you have to have a deep sink in order to get one of the more modern (higher) kitchen faucets or will the water splash all over the place?

Re: kitchen faucet

I think it depends on your water pressure. I have a standard sink that came with my new cabinets and granite...i don't have any issue with water splashing up but i don't have the most pressure either

We just got a very deep sink and a very high faucet. I LOVE it. We do have some issues with water splashing, but I just move dishes around or turn the pressure down. I wouldn't trade it for the small sink/low faucet we used to have though! HTH.

I have a standard sink and just got a high faucet (it had one of those standard faucets when we bought the house)

It splashes LOL

I got the one that the sprayer is in the faucet, so when I use it, I just pull it down a bit so it doesn't make a mess.

The concern we have with deep sink is washing the dishes lower to avoid splash which will in turn cause you the arch your back a little bit more then usual. Yes, the pressure can't be blasting but their is a happy medium. Sink is mounted below quartz so their is already a good few inch'es lower.

Our facuct does move and makes it easier to rinse things down. A most have with deep sink
