Is this safe during pregnancy? And if so, what week?

I'm pretty sure you can highlight your hair whenever but dying whole head might be iffy.

from what i understand highlighting and hair color are both safe during pregnancy.
some women opt to only highlight their hair since bleach never penetrates the scalp.
some women are iffy about dyeing their hair during pregnancy because it could seep into your system through the scalp. the stuff i have spoke to my doc about is that there are no studies concluding any damage to your unborn child through the use of hair dye. the chemicals absorbed by your skin are so minimal. if you want to err on the side of caution ~ wait until 2nd trimester.
like most things during pregnancy & parenting - you need to do what you are comfy with.

personal decision. everyone doctor seems to say something different but the general concensus seems to be that 2nd semester is safe. but lots of doctors say whenever is fine.
no keratin and no perms. highlights obviously less risk than all over hair color.
they have vegetable based dye if you're really concerned.

I highlighted my whole pregnancy. From before I even knew I was pregnant to right up to the end.

I was 11 weeks when I had it first done. My doc said I could get it done any time.
