Chemical - beta decrease then decrease...
So I had a confirmed chemical lat week, my beta went from 15 to 14.5,to 12.5 and today it was up to 14.8. And i got my period last week. I don't understand why it went back up...has anyone had any experience with this??? I have never heard of this happening before.
So freggin' annoying!!!,

It seems like the numbers are waffling around in such a close range that the slight increase may just be a product of a subtle margin of error in lab processing. It seems like it's trying to hang on, which I know is frustrating. Chemicals require A LOT of patience sometimes. I know from the personal experience of having many.

You should call your doctor ASAP. Betas that fall and then rise are a sign of ectopic. I would def look into that ASAP. Good luck!

I have been I touch w my RE. He did a sono the other day and there was no sign of an ectopic, as of now. My levels went up again, so I am going back tomorrow for more BW. If they continue to rise he will do another sono. If he still doesnt see any sign of an ectpoic, then he wants to do a d&c. If that doesn't work then I would have to take the medication for a ectopic, but then i have to wait 3 months to try again.
I hope this just decreases on its own, I really don't want to have to go through a d&c or take the medication.
This is crappy...

I don't think it's etopic being below 20. I really am so sorry this happened. I also have had two chemicals & my levels had gone all the way up to 700's & then dropped. I had D&C 2x;s. I do now have twins that are almost 2yrs. You will soon have your baby too. Hang in there.
