9 month old and bed sharing on vacation

I was thinking DD would sleep between me and DH in a "King size" hotel bed (smaller than our king size at home). But, now that it's getting closer, I'm having second thoughts.
Is 9 months too young for bed sharing? If DD sleeps with us, can we use blankets or pillows?
I'm kind of worried about sharing the bed and one of us rolling over on her. I'm thinking about switching to a suite so we can fit the pnp even though it's a lot more $.

A pnp should fit in a hotel room. I have traveled with ours and never had an issue.

I would never get sleep if DS slept with us.

The hotel i stayed at provided us with a pnp in a reg size room. It fit fine.
At one point my dd would wake and not go back to.sleep so i let her stay in bed with me. On vaca all bets are off thats my philosophy lol

Ok, thanks, I will bring the pnp. Hopefully it fits in the room, and the car...

We brought a PNP and borrowed a Porta crib from the hotel. (it was a PNP). I wouldn't trust not crushing them or them climbing out or getting into a habit of sleeping with us.

I would ask the hotel for a porta crib or bring the pack and play if you are driving - if DC isnt' used to sleeping next to you it could lead to a long, sleepless night.

Here's an article on safe bed sharing
The baby should be on your side between you and a wall or a safe rail, not be in between you and your dh. If you don't normally do it, I'd consided a pnp.
Sorry I can't link from my phone.

Don't bring your PnP. Just ask the hotel for a crib. They have them and then all you need to bring is a sheet and some Green Works wipes.

IMO if you don't want to co sleep when you get home, don't do it on vacation.
We've always brought the PNP - never had a problem fitting it - Even in small city hotel rooms!!

I slept with AJ in our bed from birth. 9m was no biggie at all. Yes we used pillows and blankets. Covered her up no less. We've never had a king bed but always slept with her in between us.

If it bothers you then use their PNP. I tried when I moved down from NY and the PNP I got were HORRIBLE. I thought I did it wrong and they came into to set it up and it was bulged in the middle and hard. She hated it. So she slept with me in one bed and I was more worried about her rolling off (and she did once). Then one night i literally set up a 'bed' on the floor for her. Pillows as barriers.
