What pharmacies carry heparin???
Hi all. I am being switched to heparin from lovenox now at 36w but none of the pharmacies by me carry heparin. Can anyone tell me which pharmacies carry it in the store(Nassau) or where I can get it? My pharmacy said it takes a week for it to come in and I don't want to take the chance.

I was able to get it at my local CVS. I just switched to it too.

Hmmm may I ask what areas you are in? I called 6 pharmacies and none have it in stock. Maybe I will just have to go to the hospital pharmacy.

I got it at 110 pharmacy in Melville. I could not find it in many places.

What pharmacies carry heparin???
CVS- the one in Baldwin Harbor(live there). I also get my lovenox from them. Early on in my pregnancy they were shipping them from Freedom but it was costing me more OOP.

I'm in Wantagh and I was getting my first dose frome the Bellmore wallgreens on n. Jerusalem. Then I was able to get it from cvs on Jerusalem Ave in Belmore. You can also try the pharmacy located in Nsuh Manhasset it's called the In Vivo pharmacy
