? about mucinex

For those you tried mucinex the days prior to ovulation, does it make you drowsy?

I've never taken plain mucinex/only guafenesin. But I've taken the cough and cold one which has other stuff in it. It made me drowsy. I'm trying to figure out if the plain one will cause drowsiness.

I haven't taken it prior to ovulation, but I've taked guafenesin when I had a cold and it did not make me drowsy.
