London & Rome
My husband and I finally booked our trip to europe, we are going to london for 5 days and rome for 4 days. any advice on things not to miss( that aren't the obvious sights), restaurants to go to, things to watch out for?

In London I loved: the Eye (the big Ferris wheel), Winston Churchill's war museum, St Paul's, westminister Abbey and the Tower of London. You should also check out harrods and have tea at the ritz.
I loved everything in Rome! It's hard to just pick a couple of things

High tea at Claridges, opetop bus, theatre...a ton of stuff to do in London.

High tea definitely. I love Brown's Hotel and Fortnum & Mason. Also check out something called The Ceremony of the Keys at the Tower of London. You have to send away for tickets in advance but it is definitely worth it and not something everyone gets to do. Here's a link:

If you have time I'd also take a trip to Hampton Court Palace. It's a very short train ride from London and is definitely worth the trip. The grounds are just breathtaking.
