Flight to Rome in the summer for under $1,000 (nonstop)?
Is this at all possible? Will I ever find tix this cheap? Please recommend travel sites and all the tricks since I heard prices fluctuate on certain days and hours. TIA

i got a flight to rome and venice in august for 750. delta was having a crazy sale and we just got lucky. subscribe to all the travel emails and follow the updates of all the sales.

Each time I've flown to Italy in the summer, it's been less than $1,000. Closer to $700-800. Sign up for Airfarewatchdog.com. They'll let you know what the cheapest flights available are for your destination.
