TMI question for those BTDT and those in late 3rd trimester
Um, sorry for the TMI. When I went to pee today I noticed 2 small whiteish blobs that fell in the toilet. I first thought maybe it was clumps of leftover toilet paper (but realized that would be too much toilet paper for me to have missed).
What is this??? It is mucus plug? I'm only 36 weeks today.
I'm so nervous about this end stage. With my son I was induced at 36w5d bc of pre-induced hypentension so I didn't experience the waiting and natural onset of labor. I'm so afraid I won't know when it's happening. Now I'm afraid it will come too soon, we don't even have the room ready! And I desperately want a VBAC.
Normal?
ETA: Just remembered that I had the Strep B swab done yesterday at the OB. Could that be it or should my freak out continue, lol.

I'm pretty sure that's your mucus plug!

It could just be discharge.
I know how you feel - I was induced late with DS 1 and went into labor naturally with DS 2 two weeks early and was unsure what was going on! I went to the hospital 2 days before he ended up being born thinking I was in labor but, they sent me home.

Re: TMI question for those BTDT and those in late 3rd trimester
it's possible, I apparently lost my mucus plug around 35 weeks, that week I had increased cervical mucus (just like EWCM when you're TTC!), sure enough at that week's appt OB said I had lost my plug, so I figured that's what the discharge was......try not to freak out though (like I did lol), I'm now 37 weeks and no changes/progress since then! (I'm 1 1/2 cm, 50% effaced). So you can lose your plug and still sit around with nothing happening for a while!
