Update 8/23-8/26: Since 8/23 I'm on 225 of menopour and 225 of follostim. Went back for sono on 8/23 and 8/26. Several small follicles on the left and the right. Dr. seems pleased, but to me this seems slow. I feel like I'm not going to get enough follicles of good quality for ER and ET. I go back in on Thursday, 8/29.
This is fine and right where you should be. I had no real measurable follicles on either side at my first post-stimming appointment. In the end, I had 18 eggs. They know what they are doing and if they were concerned they would change your meds.

Don't worry that it seems slow. You just started stims on the 23rd so you're not going to have a million in just 3 days. By Thursday they should be measuring around 10-15. You will then probably follow up Sunday and they will be larger around 17-20mm. It takes time for them to grow. I was on stims my last fresh IVF cycle for 8 or 9 days and had 31 eggs at retrieval and 27 fertilized.

Don't worry about your follicles growing at a slow rate, I was the same way. Every time I went in for a sono I'd get the same answer, 'there's some small folllicles but not much.' I was on stims for 2 full weeks!!! When I finally had my egg retrieval I had made 27!! 22 of those fertilized and 18 made it to day 5.
I know it's easier said then done, but be patient. Wishing you lots of luck!!

I went in today after 3 days of stims. Dr. Z said the same thing several small on the right and a few on the left. He said by next appointment we should see more going on. My Gonal F was upped. I'm going in Thursday too.

Thanks for the advice too, I'm admittedly cranky because I have a phobia of needles, and I'm sticking myself every day -- To top it off, Kraupner gave the wrong size needles (they are bigger than they should be). I'm gonna switch them out if there's a next time, but for now I'm trying to power through it. (Doc said it was fine, as long as I could tolerate it) I'm bruised everywhere and I'm running out of spots to stick.
Do I have to stick to below and 4" around the belly button...? there's really nowhere left for me to go. I have this HUGE bruise.

I stick to around the belly button, but I never bruised from the subcutaneous shots. Maybe see if you can get smaller needles.
I have a lot of tender spots (no bruises though) from my PIO shots on my upper butt, but I am just powering through them and trying to pick the least tender spot! Fun times.

don't go into a bruise!
i did it once and it hurt and i pulled it out fast
next day no joke my entire side was a giant bruise
i could not even sit right bc it hurt

I didn't stick into the bruise, that just LOOKED like it would hurt... but I look like a pin cushion, and y'all I'm not a small girl and I'm running out of places to stick!
Oh well, all for a good cause. If I can get through this I can do ANYthing.
