Scab from umbilical cord still at 16 months???
DD still has a little scab inside her belly button. I tried a q-tip with warm water, but its a decent size. I notice it more after she eats and her belly sticks out more. She seems to have an in between belly button. Not an inny but not quite an outy. Should I just leave it alone? I'd think by now it would be gone.

DD had the same thing. When I took her for her 12 month checkup her pediatrician used a certain solution to get it off.
Maybe mention it at next appointment.

dd is the same some black scabbing in there and its weird looking lik in between an innie and an outie. i was going to bring it up at her 15 month appt.

Thanks girls! I kept forgetting. Then DH said something about it to me. I'll ask at her 18 month appt.
