Maternity Leave..when to take Help!
Ok so hypothetically if you worked door to door about 2 hrs away from your home & hosp that you will be delivering when wld you take maternity leave. My doc suggested I start a month before and my husband said the same but that sounds so early to me!!

Maternity Leave..when to take Help!
I worked about the same distance when I was pregnant with LO. I stopped working at 36w and that day couldn't come soon enough. However, I wasn't going back, so it didn't affect my maternity leave. Not sure what your routine is, but that commute is hard! I took the train and once I hit 28w, it really became tough. Plenty of women do it, but it was not for me.

I would go by your doctor's advice.

Re: Maternity Leave..when to take Help!
Ye for now I just get tired after a full day of work then commute. I am an attorney and work 9-6 in the city and get home 8pm or closer to 9pm if I miss the earlier train.
Right now Im a few days over 20 weeks.
