Re: Clomid/iUI

Typically you take clomid between CD 3-CD7 and then it *typically* takes another week give or take to when you actually ovulate so that's when they would try and time an IUI.

HTH!

That's basically how my re does it, but in my case I'm a slow cooker (Chat Icon), so I've gone in on cd 20 and 22.

A sonogram will determine if the follicles are the correct size, and blood work will confirm if you are ovulating on our own. If you're not, and your follicles are a good size, they'll give you the trigger shot and you'll go in the next morning for the IUI

A few times, I started clomid on cd3-7 and ended up getting my smiley on cd 10.. other times at cd 12. Everyone is different depending on how well they respond to the meds! Good luck with everything!!

Clomid/iUI

Clomid did not change my cycle at all so I always O'd around day 14.

ETA: clomid does not make you Ovulate all it does is stimulate egg production.

So you will prbably O around the same time. If you have isssues ovulating then you will need a trigger.

Thanks ladies! I was under the impression I was on clomid to make me I- bc I don't o on my own. I see re tmrw morning at 740 for sono and blood work. We have not spoken about a trigger shot. I am hoping he has a few minutes to go over this with me again bc they bumped my appt from 830 to 730 which is frustrating bc now I have to bring my 10 yr old w me bc hubby is not home until 8-

Frustrated and concerned I just took 5 days of clomid for nothing! :(
