question

OK so I stopped taking my BC at the end of May. June came and went and I never got my period i should of gotten it the 1st week of july. I took a test on july 6th and it was negative. I still have not gotten AF do you think my body is still adjusting to being off the pill? Should i take another test? (i hate to keep using them since they are not cheap lol)

It can take a few cycles to regulate.

How long were you on the pill before you quit? If you were on it for a few years then yes. Also, if you are hanging out with other women a lot your body may be adjusting to their schedule as well.

I say wait a few more weeks then test again.

I recommend buying the cheapy wondfo brand from Amazon. And, you could just be having a longer cycle which is normal coming off the pill.

I have long irregular cycles. The pill masks that and I had perfect 28 day cycles while on the pill. My first cycle off the pill 28 days came and went with BFN. I tested with the internet cheapies every few days just to be sure. I got a BFN on cd51 and a BFP on cd53. Chat Icon At that point I assumed I wasnt ovulating but apparently I was! Your body needs time to adjust being off the pill and sometimes can take up to 6 months.
