Global Citizen Lineup: Alicia Keys, John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder
Gonna be a good time in Central Park!
(Although I feel like last year's lineup was a bit better...hello, Foo Fighters and Neil Young & Crazy Horse...)
Still. It's for a great cause and it's Stevie freakin' WONDER.
Too bad the rock acts they secured are major douchecanoes.

Sigh. Last year was great. I still have it on my Tivo, I can't bear to delete it.
The pay tickets were worth it. We waved at our friends crushed in the free ticket pit.

We saw Stevie at Jones Beach a few years ago he was amazing. There was a huge rain delay because it looked like a tornado was going to rip through. It was thundering and lighting. Very scary.
When he started he said "how crazy was that thunder & lightning?!, not that I saw it" we all started laughing!

I earned enough points on their site and redeemed them for entries into the ticket lottery!

Yes, you get an email from them with a link and code to claim your tickets. The name on the email was something like Judith Roland? Rowland? It wasn't from like...tickets@globalcitizen, KWIM? It wasn't in my regular folder - it was in my promotions one (gmail)...check your other folders and spam.
There are still two more drawings so you may luck out!

A week after each drawing...they did another drawing yesterday so I'm assuming she got the email yesterday?
I'm assuming a lot here. Gmail, times where emails were sent...haha...
Don't lose hope though. I ended up with mine in a spam folder last year and missed the timeline to claim them, but they sent me another email during one of the later drawings that I had won :)

Omg, I won two tickets too. So excited as I have never won anything before this. I understand they give out thousands of tickets. Those of you who got free tickets last year, how far were you from the stage? Show starts at 2:00 pm. What time should we get there? Please share your experience from last year. Thanks!
