Can you post a picture of your caboodle/tackle box/train case?
Currently, I have all my make up organized in zip loc bags and they are in a nice hat box. But I'm questioning that method.

at home i have a rubbermaid 4-tiered plastic drawer case thingy
1-eyes
2-lips
3-face
4-body
since i am always on the road, i keep my everyday stuff in a cosmetic bag
they have really nice make up bins (caboodles) on 32nd street and 6th ave for under $40. keep meaning to pick one up but im too lazy to carry it home lol

I bought my niece a nice one from Pottery Barn Teen. If you like the patterns it might work for you.

This is exactly how I organize my stuff as well.
This is similar to what I used to have. I had the rolling cart. DH made me downsize considerably.

You make me feel like a minimalist! I have a drawer in our bathroom and I bought little trays to organize different types like face, eyes, lips, etc

Nothing wrong with that! I'm just a makeup hoarder. My everyday stuff fits in a nice little bag.
