what came first? crib a night or crib at nap?

did your DC start sleeping in the crib for naps first then at night or did you make the transition to crib at night first then introduce it for naps as well?

right now dd sleeps in the rock n play and night and naps either in the swing, my arms or in the car seat while we are out and about. she is 7 weeks.

just curious how others work out nap time

crib at night. naps were all in my arms.

night. it took a long time until naps were in the crib.

Right now we do the crib at night and naps are either in the PnP, the swing, or her carseat if we are out. DD will be 7 weeks on Tuesday.

At 8 weeks I transitioned her to nap in her crib (she was napping in RNP). She did do occasional naps in her swing until 5 mos.

At 12 weeks we transitioned her to sleep in her crib at night instead of bassinet.

I was a lil anal about getting her to sleep flat. I didn't want her getting used to the incline of the RNP or swing.

Naps. We nap all over but we always tried to do one a day in the crib. Then when I went back to work we started putting him to bed in the crib as well.

Crib at night.
Naps were mostly in the pack n play or swing in the beginning.

Crib at night came first and that started at 8 weeks. Crib for naps didn't start until about 5.5 months. She was napping mostly in her swing before that.

Both kids.........crib at night. Took a while to work out the nap thing.

I was adamant at teaching them night vs. day, so cribs only at night, naps were in the pack n play or the swings or bouncer seats downstairs, lights on, blinds open, with noises.
Best thing I've ever done- they go to sleep wherever they are at their naptime or bedtime without being fussy about sleeping position, light or noise level. Tonight, we went to a hibachi restaurant with the fam. At 7:15, they just went to bed in their car seats with shrimp flying in the air. It's awesome.

Crib at night. Naps were in the swing for a long time. Now all sleeping are in the crib. Luckily, she sleep so well in the crib.

DS started sleeping in his crib at night first - probably around 4 weeks or maybe even a little earlier.

He's 5 months old now and takes maybe one nap per day in the crib. His others are in the swing or stroller/car when we're out.l
