I don't check in. I will check in with my husband after he picks her up if need be

1 or 2 times in beginning and later on if a concern that day I could tell they were busy when I called so don't call everyday although I wish I could or get a picture orcamera would be great but they s smaller place when mil had him 2x a week I call 1-2 x

When my kids were in daycare I only checked in if they were sick and to see how they were.

I don't, unless she's sick.

About twice a week, her sitter will text me with a question, a concern, or a picture of DD doing something cute. So I know that if there's something I need to know, she'll get me right away. That eases my mind and keeps me from feeling like I need to call or text.

I call my mom every day at 9. We talked for less than 5 minutes. My parents are always out and about so I like to k ow where they are taking her for the day!

I leave before anyone is awake lol so I can't ask then.

I never check in. I work in a jail, so I am not allowed to have my phone. DS is home with DH though, so it's not like I'm checking in on a babysitter. Most of the time he sends me a text to breakdown the day, but if he doesn't, I don't stress it. I'm home all summer now, so I don't have to check in.

On the days that DD is at daycare, her daycare provider (it's family group day care) texts me here and there with pictures or to let me know how she's eating. I only called during the first couple of weeks, when she was tiny. I have a sheet that I have daycare fill out about what she ate, diapers, naps, etc. I don't call my MIL at all on the two days DD is with her. She fills me in later.

Sometimes once a day...but not every day. My mom watches him so I'm not really worried.

I check in a lot...Between 3-5x a day. I text and see how she's doing, what she's doing, did she eat?, did she poop?, what did the poop look like, etc...Normal mommy things.

And I get pics a lot too, but I usually have to ask for them (DH watches her while I'm at work).

Dd goes to daycare, but I'm very connected to the owner. We are almost like friends. I'll text her at least once a day. Sometimes she will text me or call me.

My parents watch my kids. When it was just my son, I had constant contact with my mother throughout the day. Texts, emails and phone calls.

Now that they have two kids to watch, I hardly hear from them. My mom is always busy with the baby, and she just doesn't have time to stay that connected. I can't even call the house in case they are trying to get the baby to sleep. I do hear from my mom a few times a day, but not hourly like before.

It's hard going from so much contact to very limited contact. I feel very out of touch, and it sucks. One of the many perks about having my parents watch my kids is knowing exactly what my son was doing all day long. It made me feel less separated.

I know that my kids are in very good hands and they are being very well cared for. I just miss the updates. (yeah, poor me..I know....)

I'm a PTWM but the 3 days she's at daycare I never check-in.

only if my DH is watching him, since he'll call me at some points while i'm at work and let me know how DS is doing... on other days when DH is not watching him i don't check in.

My sister watches my kids while i work. I ck in usually 2x w her and then again with DH when he picks them up.

Since our day care is 5 minutes from my job I'll go there on my lunch a few days a week. I know I won't do this as he gets older but for now I enjoy our little 'lunch date." Other than that I don't call to check in.
