Atlantis, Bahamas in November?
I know this is the end of hurricane season.
Has anyone been to the Bahamas in November?
We are looking into going the week before Thanksgiving. This is the time that our friends are available. It's a bad time for the Caribbean.
I showed my kids some pictures of Atlantis and they are really excited. They especially want to do the stingray and dolphin experiences. Hope my 2yo and 4yo can both participate.

I think it's hit or miss. I went one year in November (as part of a cruise we spent 2 days in Nassau) and it was cool and cloudy - jeans and a t-shirt weather but, I have had friends who have gone then and have said it's perfect.
I think to guarantee warm weather in the Caribbean though during that time of year, your best bet is to go further south.

The end of hurricane season is October actually. You should be fine.
ETA: I misspoke. The official season ends November 30th but the odds of getting a hurricane that late in the season is very unlikely.

The weather is hit or miss in the Bahamas that time of year as far as temps go, but I have been there that time of year and loved it.
As for the experiences, children must be at least 5 years old to participate in the stingray experience.
Atlantis is one of the most popular destinations I book. If you have any questions I would love to help you and your friends plan a trip you'll never forget.

Atlantis, Bahamas in November?
we went early November years ago. some days, the weather was nicer than others. we did have a day or two of rain/thunderstorms. the good part was that it wasn't very crowded.

Were you able to swim?
As long as it's in the 70's, our kids could play on the beach and dip our feet in the ocean.
Is it safe to assume the pools are heated?
I once went to Mexico (Riviera area) in November. It was rainy and a bit too cold to swim. I very clearly remember shivering in the ocean going snorkeling.

I was there for Thanksgiving week and it was definitely too cold to swim.

Re: Atlantis, Bahamas in November?
We go the first week of Nov. and this year will be our 5th year going back. I actually didn't want to go again because of the weather but you really can't predict it. 2 years it was nice and 2 years not so great. You can get 85 degree days and then cooler days the same week.
When I talk to the locals I always ask them, and every person tells me the same thing, there is no perfect time. People are still in the pools and beach. They also generally heat the pools.
