I honestly can not believe what happened to me today...
The following thing occurred today, and I still have not completely processed it: I was leaving the bank, rounding the corner, and a slightly older man carrying two shopping bags was headed straight for me. I moved to the left to avoid him, and kept walking. As he passed me he also moved to the side (same side I had already moved to) and swung one of his bags and HIT me in the stomach. Not hard enough that I'm worried but damn hard enough that he 100% knew it happened. I stopped and turned as he just kept walking and said "seriously?!" but he just kept going. I was too much in shock to do anything else. What kind of person quite obviously hits a pregnant woman IN THE STOMACH?

WTF People are a-holes!!! How about stopping and apologizing... Even if you weren't pregnant- how about the fact that he clearly hit a woman with his shopping bag?! Totally disrespectful!

Omg!!! I'm so sorry! Once an old woman attacked me in the bathroom at the movies bc I "thought I was ms fancy pants." Whatever that means. She was pushing my stall door open and clawing at me saying "I'm gonna rip your eyes out and then you won't be ms fancy pants!" I literally shoved her and ran out of the bathroom. I still can't believe the story myself every time I tell it lol. Glad you're ok! People are crazy!

I had a woman push me on the stairs while I was going down to the subway when I was pregnant. Luckily I caught myself against the rail instead of falling down the stairs. I was really upset and actually cried about it a few times that day (pregnancy hormones!) but the truth is, it's better to keep walking than risk getting into a fight with someone. You just keep your head down and your baby safe!
