Yes, and it was great! We flew into Montreal, stayed for 3 days, took the train to Quebec and spend another 3 days there!

I did a day trip to Quebec to go sightseeing while my friends went shopping  in Montreal.
Took the train back and forth, if I remember, about a 2 hour ride each way.
It was great ! Wish I had more time in Quebec.
Quebec/Montreal are two places I would like to visit again.
