Yes, I had that too. Mostly in the morning when I first woke up, my hands would be so swollen that they would hurt.
Could be from swelling or maybe the baby laying on a nerve.
Dr told me it was normal too.

Re: fingers tingly and numb like
I had numbness in my fingers for a good portion of my pregnancy with DS. (Started around 5 months for me) It was something called pregnancy carpal tunnel. I had it in both hands but the right one was worse. It didn't completely go away until DS was about 2 months old.
ETA - It got bad for a while, my fingers felt really swollen and really numb. It sometimes hurt to bend my fingers, almost felt as if I had arthritis.

yes, for most of my first pregnancy. I would also wake up and my hand and lower arm were completely numb! It was so annoying.

Yup! I had/have this. Like pins and needles? TOTALLY annoying but it would only happen when I was sleeping. My sister told me it was carpel tunnel and if it really bothered me to get a splint to help. The tingling has gone away but now I have constant pain in my hand and can't make a fist.
The funny things our bodies do during pregnancy!

I've had that too...I just assumed it was carpal tunnel related since i work on a computer all day. But I did read that you're more prone to carpal tunnel issues when pregnant.

I had it the first time around and it took a while to go away. If it really bothers you, you can try sleeping with a splint on. That might help a little.
