hurricane sandy babies
The start of the hurricane sandy babies is probably starting soon.
Babies conceived during Sandy would most likely be due in the last week of July through the first week or so of August depending on the woman's cycle. Give or take a few weeks for early and late arrivals... I'd say probably from the beginning of July to the third week in August.

They say due dates are up 30% from mid july to begin of August. I'm happy I'm due before that. The hospitals will be zoos

Re: hurricane sandy babies
we were hit with Hurricane Sandy and my LMP started days after Sandy but with my long cycles technically no, ours is not a "Sandy baby" lol (since we had power and heat back at that point!). I'm due August 17th, so I guess just after the Sandy boom!

Re: hurricane sandy babies
I give all of those who did so much credit b/c DH and I had to stay with IL's because we had no power for over a week -- during that time, IL's were running off of a generator so it was difficult because certain things weren't running. Then there was the gas shortage and DH was worried about how he was going to get to/from work, etc. It was nuts so I think the last thing we were thinking about was So funny!

Sandy babies here but since I'm having twins I'll be induced or have a c-section at 38 weeks. I have about four weeks left!

Re: hurricane sandy babies
This is an IVF Sandy baby. I was in the middle of my FET IVF cycle when Sandy hit. We were without power and cable for days with no connection to what was happening around LI except for radio reports. I remember going to my RE's office and watching channel 12 news and learning about how bad everything was.

Re: hurricane sandy babies
Although I might be considered of hurricane baby group I find it a bit impossible that my LO is a hurricane baby because I got my last pd on 10/31 lol so I don't think I am but I fall within the dates

I guess for those that were without power for a few weeks that's what they mean w/ hurricane Sandy babies......those that were keeping busy in the dark My LMP was 11/2 but I have long cycles so technically didn't conceive until Thanksgiving weekend most likely, we got power back on 11/9 so definitely not a Sandy baby.

Re: hurricane sandy babies
My lmp was 10/22 so I wouldn't have ovulated yet during the week of Sandy.... I'm pretty sure this kid was conceived the week after.... more like an Election week baby? But people always like to point out to me how I'm having a Sandy baby.... I just laugh!

my period started 10/24 and we are definitely legit 'conceived during the hurricane days'
but i'm an early O'er. short cycles.
