Best Mani and Pedi for Vacation

I LOVE french mani's and pedi's but with the salt water and beaches on vacation, there is a huge chance of chipping.

Is there a way (maybe gel or shellac) to get a regular french mani and pedi (just my regular short names) and have it last at least a week?

I just had a gel manicure and regular pedicure before our Florida trip. The mani lasted great, but is pulling up a little by my cuticles from the water. The pedi held up perfect. I didn't get French, though I do know you can get French with the gel.

Yup - do what you said - ask for a french manicure in Shellac or Gelish or whatever brand gel manicure your salon uses.

I've been doing this a lot. It's like a normal french on your natural nails, just lasts forever since it's Shellac. Usually costs a little more than a plain color gel manicure, but totally worth it. I just got back from a 2 week trip, and mine lasted great the whole time!

Shellac will last you 2 weeks at least!
