I used to use the shark steam mop but when my mom recently had her floors refinished thy told her its the worst thing because the heat ruins the finish/shine.
I use regular vinegar and warm water. Ring it out well so it's just damp and wipe dry immediately with another cloth. A lot more effort but it works great

I use this spray mop with a microfiber pad and just put water and vinegar in the tank. I also use my steam mop occasionally but the spray mop is so easy for every day.

Vinegar and warm water, barely wet microfiber cloth. Hands and knees or my swiffer sweeper. Buff dry with an old cotton tee-shirt.

1/4 cup washing soda or borax, 1/4 cup vinegar, about 2 gals of hot water and a tablespoon of dish detergent...
found it on pinterest and it's all i use now...even DH commented on how great the floors looked when i first used it.
