How do you decide where/how to hang pictures?
Show me your pictures, picture walls etc.
I am so worried about making it look bad. I have so many photographs that I have nicely framed that I want to hang up around my house but I am so worried it will look bad.
How many is too many? I am not into art. I love photographs of family and friends. A lot are B&W.
HELP! I am so decortating challenged

We actually created a little gallery in our hallway of pics to hang on a wall-- in all of our rooms, we have hung art. I personally prefer photos to be in a hallway on displayed on a desk/table.

I like a wall of pics too, especially in the hallway or on stairs. I was just on Pottery Barn looking for frames and I found this. I think it could be helpful for the design challenged, like me!

I don't have pictures but my friend in an interior decorater and she said most people hang pictures too high. They should be closer to eye level. As I went into other homes I noticed people tend to hang them really high

I have a wall in may family room that I wanted to hang pictures on but it's a vaulted ceiling wall. I wonder how that would look  If they're too high that looks silly and if they're too low then I worry there will be too much empty wall
