Edema - Not in feet or ankles?
So yesterday I noticed that my left thigh became very swollen, red and tender to the touch. I blew it off for a little while, but decided to call my OB later in the day to ask if he thought this was pregnancy related. He sent me straight to L&D to get it checked out to make sure it wasn't a blood clot. Turns out it's Edema of the left thigh. So bizarre bc I have no swelling anywhere else. Did anyone else have this?

I had some very strange edema but I also had preeclampsia. If you ever have any odd swelling, call your doctor because it is better to be safe than sorry! The humidity also did a number on me and my swelling.

They are keeping an eye on me bc I have it in unlikely places. I have 2 more weeks to go and am praying that I don't develop PreE!!

my swelling started in my feet around 27 weeks. really bad. i made it to 37 w 3 days with twins until i developed pre e
