Baby shower favors
I am in charge of favors for sil's shower. What are the favors at your shower (if you know).
Trying to stay away from cookie favors because I am doing cookies for ds's christening the day after.
Anything cute or unique? I'm open to other edible favors as well.

I'm having jars of jam/jelly, made from scratch, I found a company in Georgia that does them homemade, they are DELICIOUS - they will be in a variety of flavors, in 8oz mason jars, and the flavors are:
Candy Apple Jelly
Blueberry Jelly
Blackberry Jelly
Strawberry Jelly
Raspberry Jam
During my first trimester, the only thing I could stomach eating was jam and jelly in different flavors on whole wheat toast so that's where I got the idea. Thankfully, I've transitioned from those days 
I'm having AndreaP from Andrea P. Designs make stickers -- the top of the jar will have a round sticker that says:
Blueberry Jelly (or whatever flavor)
Spread the Love!
The square sticker label on the actual jar will say:

...Then, each guest will get a wrapped cookie favor - we are having blue onesies made with little sugar ducks on them from The Cookie Lady (a recommendation from here). Her name is Laura, she's great and her cookies are all featured on her website - they come wrapped with a beautiful, custom label. She's doing a Peter Rabbit (Beatrix Potter) design for me on the tag because that is going to be DS' nursery theme/bedding. If you don't want actual cookies, maybe you can contact her about other edible options like chocolate, lolly pops, any kind of candy, muffins, scones, etc.

I had crumbs cupcakes. They boxed them w/ ribbon & even put favor tag stickers I had orderd on for us. We did the Artie Lang cupcakes b/c they donate $1 per cupcake to St. Jude.

cupcakes are cute...
I had little jungle type candles (the theme of the shower/our nursery was jungle). There were 4 different ones, lion, zebra, monkey, and elephant. My mom also made the centerpieces a jug of animal crackers.

For my sisters shower (which was jungle theme) we did custom soaps in different animal shapes. They were really cute! And you could pick out the scent. This was also 7 years ago so I don't remember where we got them from. But they have owl soaps on Etsy that are really cute. I think people will actually use a decorative soap vs. other favors like coasters and candles and picture frames...
Also the edible favors are always a hit too. Can't go wrong with the classic chocolate lollipops.

My friend is an event planner (out of state) and she has been doing a lot of gourmet popcorn favors lately...maybe you could do small bags of gourmet popcorn and have the top of the bag (like the fold-over) look like the owl's face...I googled "owl favors" and there are a bunch of blogs with owl themed favor bags.

For my shower (over 5 yrs ago) we did two favors which I attached pictures of. The cookies the party planner made and the baby bottle favors were my idea. I went out and bought inexpensive baby bottles in pink and blue ( I wasn't finding out what I was having) and I ordered Jelly Belly jelly beans in a pink flavor (cotton candy) and a blue flavor, can't remember the name of that one and filled up the baby bottles with them and tied a ribbon around the neck of the bottles in a coordinating color. They were a big hit!
Always love edible favors personally. And I was always a big fan of Jelly Belly jelly beans.

We're doing cake pops (since someone in the family makes them) and ice cream scoopers, I thought these were really cute, Kate Aspen "pickles & ice cream"!

I did Crumbs cupcakes as well. I wanted edible. I also think cookies, cake pops/balls, etc., are great too.
I also looked at soap favors and would have done them in addition to the edible favor as well but waited too long to order them and they wouldn't have arrived in time.
