Stupid question from a newbie steam mopper...
For your kitchen floors...do you use it in lieu of a sponge mop or do you sponge mop and THEN steam mop?

With my floors and 3 kids, I mop first, sometimes on my hands and knees, and use the steam mop after. It wasn't our doing, but my kitchen tiles are cream color and show every speck of dirt and food particles.

Stupid question from a newbie steam mopper...
I only use the steam mop. Kind of defeats the purpose to mop the floor before mopping it with the steam mop

I use the steam mop alone on a regular basis. Every so often I get on my hands and knees and scrub the floor with a brush.
