when did you hear the babies heart beat
Just curious is it usually around 6 weeks. I'm going tomorrow at 4 weeks for a consult and script for blood. Curious to when they would do the 1st ultrasound

There won't be anything to see on a sono at 4wks, that's even too early for a sac. A heartbeat comes around 6wks but most OBs won't do a sono till 8. Good luck!!!

With my 3rd baby I switched Ob's and they had you come in around 9 weeks.

This. I went for my first appt at 8 weeks and thats when they did the sono and we saw the HB.

At my first sono at 8 weeks (117) and at 12 weeks it was 172.
ETA: I went in at 5 weeks for cramping and there was no heartbeat- just a sac, so don't stress out!

We saw the heart beating at 8 weeks at docs but she said that they dont have u hear it then bec hard to pick up. i did buy my own doppler by sonoline B from fetaldoppler.net and heard it at 11 weeks.

Ugh 2 more weeks I can't wait that long. I had a mc last year around 5 weeks so we never saw anything. I'm gonna be super anxious until jnsee that little flicker on the screen
