Opinions please for btdt moms
So I am 38 w3d. At my appt Thursday I was fully effaced and 1 cm.
Last night my belly felt tight while I was sleeping. When I got up I had some period type cramps, lower back pain and some sharp stabbing vag pains. I also had a lot of whitish discharge. I was playing with my son but had to lie down because I felt cramps.
I've had several contractions but they aren't painful enough to think anything of it. I mean I've been uncomfortable all day but I remember last time being in a lot of pain, not jus uncomfortable.
My doctors office is closed on the weekends and I don't want to make a trip to L&D t be sent home.
What do you girls think?

I don't think I would go for it being labor but are you concerned for any other reason? If so, then yes go but I don't think you have to worry about contractions until they are closer and more consistent and closer to a 6 on pain scale of 1-10. Also, make sure you aren't deyhdrated, I know that can cause false contractions and cramping and it's super hot outside! But it sounds like you could be on your way soon!!

I am having déjà vu with our posts from our last pregnancies lol. I don't think it is labor yet either jus hoping something is brewing. DS was 11 days late and I was 3 cm for 3 weeks so I have no clue what I'm in for this time.

yeah deja-vu was my first thought too - thinking it was crazy that we were both late and both waiting to be due at the same time now! still hope we are both on time this time!!

My labor with DD2 started out uncomfortable and not at all painful. Contractions started at midnight, became somewhat painful around 5pm, pretty painful by 6pm, very painful at 7pm and she was born at 8:11pm! So I hope the same thing happens for you. GL!
