Any other team green mom
just never guesses or focuses much on the gender? When people ask if know boy/girl and we say no they're surprised. Then they ask do we have a guess (we were team green last time) and so I say it's like the last time but I have no idea. And literally that is the extent to how much thought I put into the gender... to me (and DH) it does not matter one way or another at all and we literally never guess or try and follow a myth or anything. I don't know, we both know it's 50/50 and that's it...
Just curious if others feel this way because sometimes I think "Am the only one who doesn't really focus on this at all?"

Any other team green mom
My last pregnancy I felt that way. Towards the end people were always like "omg I bet you can't wait to see what it is." And I never really cared that much. I just wanted baby out at that point. I also had a very string feeling on what LO was.

Any other team green mom
We're team green and I honestly have no guess. In the beginning I had dreams of little boys and now I have dreams of baby girls. So that will tend to sway me at times. I'm not wishing for one or the other and the anticipation is more about seeing and holding the baby, not really about finding out the sex. The waiting seems to be harder on my friends and family than it is on us. LOL!

Re: Any other team green mom
I'm team green- this is our second time doing it! I had the best time last time- this time I am kind of over people saying OMG Can't believe you are not finding out, I could never, and blah blah blah
I am definitely excited and cannot wait to see what I am having!

Re: Any other team green mom
Me!! Last pregnancy I was dying to know the gender and made my friend who is an ultrasound tech scan me and tell me the gender at 17 weeks. This time we are team green and I have no desire to know the sex. I always wanted a little girl and I have my little girl. If I have another girl that will be awesome but if I have a little boy that will be awesome too!

Same, we were team green last time and this time. To me it doesn't make much difference and if anything, I don't like having preconceived ideas in my head of what things *might* be like...I'll just go with the flow either way. I'm over those reactions too

Re: Any other team green mom
I was not team green last time since I had a few issues during my pregnancy and was told my baby would possibly need surgery after it was born. I had an amnio and found it was a boy. This pregnancy was such a surprise that my husband and I decided not to find out. It was the best thing we ever did. I truly feel everyone should be team green once. We both thought it was a boy even though I went back and forth every day but it never consumed me. My son was born 6 weeks early and was in the NICU so this time around we just truly wanted a healthy baby and gender did not make any difference to us. Everyday some one would come up to me and tell me what they thought I was having, I never got so many comments about me being pregnant. I never stressed about not planning the room, since both kids were sharing a room, never stressed about not having clothes because my mom went shopping after I had the baby. I never stressed at all during this pregnancy. I would love to have a 3rd and I already told my husband I want to be team green again. It is truly the best experience that we ever shared and we ended up having a little girl. The best part was when everyone started singing Sweet Caroline in the delivery room since they knew that is what we were naming her. It was a moment we will never forget.

Re: Any other team green mom
we're team green and people are always like "oh you guys are no fun!!" lol. in any case, at 13 weeks I'm not really showing yet so nothing to guess quite yet (although a friend already put in an early prediction for boy? um ok). but honestly since we don't want to know, we're not going to guess or do anything of the little prediction tricks to see if it's right. we'll find out when our little nugget arrives
