is 29 weeks too early for a shower?
im looking into a few places and our top choice Marios in east setauket has availability at 30 weeks but early around 12. since I'm inviting so many non Long Islanders I didn't want to make it too early so I was thinking that if I book with them maybe I can move it to week earlier or is 31 weeks better?

I don't think 29 weeks sounds too early, people have showers at all different times. I'd just do what's convenient. Nobody will show up and be like "UGHH can you believe she is having a shower at just 29wks??!! "
It's actually smart because you won't be too big and uncomfy yet!

I don't think 29 weeks is too early to have a shower especially if you are planning it yourself.

I had my first one at 28 weeks and the second a week later. Not too early.

Re: is 29 weeks too early for a shower?
I was OOS and drove to NY for my shower at 29 weeks. My swelling had just started and I ended up on bed rest a month later so I'm glad we didn't have the shower later than that.

I had mine at 30 weeks but I can't imagine that a week really would make a different. I'm glad I had it then because a couple weeks later I started to get really uncomfortable and tired quickly. Plus, like a PP no one will say "can you believe she's having it at 29 weeks and didn't wait until after 30?" That would be just plain silly!

29 or 31. Both seem to be at an ok time.

Originally we were going to have mine this weekend when I would've been 29 weeks. I look pregnant enough and am still fairly comfy. I think it's perfect

I dont' think 29 weeks is early. You will feel comfortable enough and energetic enough. I think its a perfect time to have it.
