Anyone go to South Bay?
Does anyone go to South Bay Gyno in west islip on Montauk hwy? I usually see Dr. Jurak but she's all booked for 3 weeks. My choices are Pallotta or Maiorino for the next appt. Has anyone had experience with either? Thoughts? Who do you use at South Bay and do you recommend them?

I see dr. Jurak too. I see dr. Ammiratta when Dr Jurak isn't available. I have never seen the drs you mentioned but I think I have seen everyone else at some point.
I have liked them all. Jurak is my favorite.

Anyone go to South Bay?
I actually just switched out of that practice b/c I felt like every time I went I spent more time in the waiting room then with a Doctor. I do like Dr. Jurak though- she's very sweet and compassionate.
Maiorino was the one I usually went to and I loved him, but he's very slow moving and much older. So if you go with him just expect to wait even longer than normal.

Interesting. She is the reason I left so many years ago. Just goes to show how personal picking a dr is. I got to Polcino who actually helped start that practice. He's in North Babylon. He is wonderful

That is interesting. Can I ask why? I'm TTC now so I want to make sure I'm happy with my obgyn before I get pregnant

Just wasn't crazy about her bedside manner. It was many years ago as she was my first gyno. I am not saying to not go see her. My experience wasn't positive. It is totally a personal preference. GL!

I left that practice mid pregnancy. The office is a mess. And you have see all drs while you are pregnant because you never know who will deliver.

I started out with Southbay and this is EXACTLY what one of the receptionist told me, and that is one of the reasons I left the practice. I now go to comprehensive obgyn a few blocks away from southbay and they are wonderful there.
