Opinions please!!!
I need opinions... this is my bathroom (the picture is from the MLSLI listing when we bought the house so I'm not the one using what seemed to be large washcloths as floor mats )
I HATE those sinks more than I could ever express so I ordered this guy from PB.
You can kind of see the faucet on the tub... it has a chrome finish and it's one of those faucets where the water comes out in a flat stream (if that makes any sense). Should I try to match the faucets I buy for the vanity to that?? I don't particularly love the tub faucet but I'm probably not going to replace it. DH is already not too thrilled that I'm replacing the 4 year old pedastal sinks so I'm trying not to go crazy since I do plan on replacing the medicine cabinets and light fixture.
ETA: I am going to get the same finish, by "matching" I just meant style... should I get the same faucet and it's counterpart for the tub?
I have been looking at tub faucets and it's not easy to find the 5-piece faucet I need that doesn't cost a fortune. The cheapest one I have seen(that I like) is $800!

I would replace the tub faucet to match the sink, if its not too costly. If not, I would go with what you want for the sink and eff the tub faucet.

I would get the same finish even though I'm more of a brushed nickel fan which would probably help right? I feel like the flat one is just a little too modern looking.

Definitely modern and the new sink is more rustic.

Re: Opinions please!!!
First off, I love your bathroom and those PB sinks!
If you can, I would try to switch out the faucet in the tub to match the sinks. I don't think it's a huge deal if they don't match but I think it would look really nice and bring everything together nicely. I am also biased though because I love the look of oil rubbed bronze

Re: Opinions please!!!
Just stick with the same finish and a bit on the modern side.
My vanity is in the same general feel of the pottery barn but its open underneath. I have a single faucet...
sort of like this but not exactly.faucet
and I can't beleive you lived this long with the sinks in there. I would have thrown them out the day I moved in.

Re: Opinions please!!!
I would replace it and match finishes. Can you maybe put those pedestal sings on craigslist and make some $$ back on them???? I've seen people sell their used or like new fixtures from renovations and yours are actually nice. I'm sure someone renovating on a limited budget is probably scouring craigslist looking for a good deal. That can help you pay for replacing the bath faucet
OR
if you REALLY cannot switch it...I saw on pinterest where they spray painted brass fixtures with oil rubbed bronze spray and it looked nice. it was in a shower so I'm assuming the spray had to be water tolerant

If the PB Vanity does not come with Faucets then I would buy them in the chrome finish to match all of the other hardware and accessories in the bathroom. Plus chrome is cheaper than other finishes.

Alli, I totally agree with you, it took me WAY too long to find something. PB has the same vanities in individual sinks and together they are 2 inches too big to fit in the space I have there. They only added this piece recently and I totally forgot about it while I was pregnant!!
Kayla, I have to still look for light fixtures... I'm scared to see how that hideous thing is attached to the wall. I would love to do oil rubbed bronze but then I would definitely have to switch out the shower too and I like what we have in there.
OK... I think you guys have convinced me. I'm going to just get a new faucet for the tub too!

Re: Opinions please!!!
Definitely get matching fixture colors. Price shop a new tub faucet and sink then buy what is less expensive.
