AF & Chemical Question
Morning All! I have a question regarding AF & cycle counting if you have a chemical pregnancy. I apparently had one (or early MC whatever you want to call it) at the end of 5 weeks, beginning of 6 weeks. I started spotting very lightly last Wednesday and actual bleeding just started (God this is a long process). I was wondering when I would count from, or would I not count at all this month and just count from my next period?? Confused, as always.

Re: AF & Chemical Question
I would probably count from when the actual bleeding started.
But I would also not be surprised if this next cycle is a little wonky.
I'm sorry. I had a chemical two months before I got pregnant with my DD and that pregnancy went very smoothly. I hope you have a similar experience and get back to the pregnancy board quickly.

AF & Chemical Question
Thanks, that's what I was figuring I would count from, but I've seen other say they counted from the first day of spotting. I am just looking forward to this being over and getting back to TTC business!

AF & Chemical Question
I was told that when the bleeding has stopped for 21 continuous days, then you can expect AF within the next 2-4 weeks. My first AF came 5 weeks after my chemical.

AF & Chemical Question
This sucks... It's like AF cramps on steroids - actually it's like AF on steroids. I have another 2 hours here and all I want to do is go home and lay down.

Re: AF & Chemical Question
I am going through the same thing right now. Except my bleeding is so heavy( sorry if TMI) that I actually feel weak and my cramping is so bad I actually feel like I am in labor . Hopefully everything goes back to normal soon and we can both move on to our next cycle and ...

AF & Chemical Question
I had one at 5 weeks and my doctor told me to start the following month when AF came. The following month it was late by 5 days according to when I normally should have gotten it but it was on time from day one of the m/c. HTH

Thanks! It sucks, but it helps to know that you're not alone in this. I just caved and got some popcorn and chocolate - I need serious comfort food right about now. They won't help the pain, hopefully putting my feet up will.
