For those of you who are on your second baby..
When did the doctor clear you to go back to work if you had a vaginal delivery?

I have my 6 week visit next week but I can't imagine he wouldn't clear me to go back.

Depending on what you do- you could probably go back the day after you're released.
With my 1st- a csection- I had to wait 2 weeks to drive, avoid heavy lifting, try not to go up and down the stairs too much.
With my 2nd- vaginal- I had no restrictions (other than sex). DD2 was in the NICU so I was driving back and forth to the hospital, walking up stairs, shopping at BRU, etc. right after.

I think it depends on each delivery. After my first I needed the 6 weeks, but with #2 i was good after about a week or two. I healed much faster the second time, not sure the reason, both births were fairly fast and easy.
