Re: IVF #1 ...negative
I know how hard it is right now but don't loose hope. My first IVF was a chemical, my second was a m/c, and my third was a FET and I'm 28 weeks along tomorrow. Just keep faith that it will happen!

Re: IVF #1 ...negative
Im so sorry I got my third IVF BFN today so I am right there with you. We decided to take a month or two off....get some more testing and do some more consults. More importantly we are going to take a vacation to give our minds a break. I hope you find comfort in a new plan soon.

IVF #1 ...negative
I am sooo sorry!!! I remember when my IVF failed the first time. I cried at the RE's office as they were drawing my blood since I knew it was giong to be a BFN. I was defeated and felt broken like IVF couldnt even fix me. I questioned EVERYTHING!!! I made consults with other RE's I thought maybe I had an immune issue or something. I made my WTF appt for the next day and would not take no for an answer. I was told I should wait a cycle or 2 and again I couldnt for my mental and emotional stability. I thankfully had 4 frosties so we could do a FET. Def take the time to think about what you want and how you want to proceed. Its def not easy but for me at least getting back into it made me feel better.

I am so sorry
I think the first is always the most difficult. I've had 5 failed IVF cycles (2 fresh and 3 frozen). I finally finally got a BFP on my 6th cycle and currently 18 weeks pregnant. In my case my body wasn't accepting the embryos instead it was attacking them so my RE put me on a steroid this last cycle and it helped.

I'm so sorry Take time to mourn, be angry and then make a plan for the next steps. The first IVF cycle a lot of times is trial and error.

and don't even know where to go from here...
I'm so, so sorry. I remember that feeling all too well. In fact it was something that kpet me from going to IVf for a long time...what if this doesn't work, then what?? Hopefully you can get some answers and figure out what what improve your odds on a new cycle. For what it's worth, a lot of first IVF cycles fail where FETs and future fresh cycles get positiove results. Hang in there...

IVF #1 ...negative
Thank you so much everyone! I totally needed a day to be angry and upset and frustrated. I was not happy that my Re's office was not being receptive, well only the receptionist, but I took matters into my own hands and spoke with my doc and I am going to see him Thursday to start my frozen. I am so happy to have a plan again!

A plan is always the best medicine after a fail..even if the plan is to have no plan. GL
