how far in advance...
I see a lot of girls registering around the time of the 20w.
How much research did you do before you registered and when did you start??

We did some research when it came to the stroller and that was pretty much it. I had looked on friends registries to see what we might need, and then asked for a lot of help from associates when we had the scanner in hand.
I actually would have preferred to wait until about 26 weeks to register, but MIL wanted to start the invitations to my baby shower and was requesting we do it earlier. We already knew the sex so we figured why not. We registered at 20w and edited and modified for about 2-3 weeks after. I would say we are done now just shy of 24w
